Eligibility:

To determine eligibility the applicant must provide proof of monthly income, delinquent bill, social security numbers for all members of the household, social security card for head of household, number of all household members, and picture ID. All aplicants must be clients of Charleston Water System.

Service offered:
Emergency assistance for winter electric or gas bills

Food, shelter, utilities and medical

To determine eligibility the applicant must provide proof of monthly income, delinquent bill, receipts of all bills for the past thirty (30) days, social security numbers for all members of the household, social security card for head of household, number of all household members, and photo ID. Verification of employment (or unemployment) for all household members 18 years old and over. If a student, school photo ID is required.
